Poor Brandon Routh. The talented, charismatic actor was given the big screen role of a lifetime only to see the gig weighed down by a poor script and some slack plot points. Yes, Im talking about his turn as the titular Man of Steel in Bryan Singers Superman Returns. Seemingly destined for the Hollywood A-list once hed landed the role of the Last Son of Krypton, all turned sour for Rouths career when Superman Returns largely bombed with critics and fans alike. Having floated from gig to gig, the actor turned up as Ray Palmer/The Atom during Season 3 of Arrow and has now gone on to star in The CWs latest DC-based effort, Legends of Tomorrow. Whilst Legends will air throughout this year, Routh will also be headlining Lost in the Pacific, a film focussed on the debut flight of a luxury aircraft that has to land on a deserted island due to a ferocious storm over the Pacific Ocean. Set to be a straight-to-DVD effort in most markets, the film will actually get a cinematic release in Asia. Release Date: February 8th
