12. The Stranger

As with most new shows, Netflix has been keeping specific details about The Stranger pretty close to its chest, but the upcoming thriller series is based on Harlan Coben's suspenseful 2015 novel and stars The Hobbit's Richard Armitage as a man whose world is turned upside down by a shocking revelation. It also stars Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man & The Wasp, Ready Player One) in the titular role.

The series is produced by Red Production Company and hits the streaming platform at the end of January. It will consist of eight hour-long episodes.
