In what must surely be the most meta entry on this list, Jon Hamm puts that silky smooth voice that he perfected over the course of nearly a decade playing Don Draper, to use for German car manufacturer Mercedes Benz. Unlike some of the other entries on this list at least this one feels like a nice fit. Hamm oozes the kind of old school Hollywood charm that your typical Mercedes driver in the USA probably wants to exude - while they ironically fail miserably in doing so. But it seems questionable as to whether after starring in one of the most ground breaking and influential television series in the history of the medium, Hamm really needed to take a cheque from an auto maker that made huge profits of the back of Nazi concentration camp slaves. That's the kind of heat that no actor truly wants people to associate their face with.So it's no surprise really that he just lent them his dulcet tones rather than his impressively chiselled visage for their campaign and took the money that way instead.
