Never was there a better day when Sasha from Hollyoaks turned up as Daenerys right-hand lady in Game of Thrones. And lets not forget Tiffany from Eastenders suddenly having an album and then being one of the main characters in Love, Actually, never mind that Brooksides Beth had her own amazing show, Pushing Daisies. When an actor you recognise from your favourite soap ends up in something much bigger and better, theres a sense of pride that theyve done so well from such humble beginnings. Its like watching baby birds fly the nest, even if you cant get over the fact that the emo kid in Hollyoaks six years ago is turning into a bonafide sex symbol.
