From calling Cooper a Mexican Chiwowwow to his hilarious courting of Shelly Johnson at the RR, Lynch proved he could make golden moments on camera, as well as behind it. When caught kissing by Bobby Briggs, the oblivious Cole bellows: You are witnessing a front, three-quarter view of two adults sharing a tender moment! Genius. Sheer genius.
7. THAT Nightmare
The feature-length second season première ended in a way you wouldn't have expected- being as how Ronette Pulaski hadn't been seen since the pilot episode. When she suddenly awoke from her coma, only to experience a flashback of Laura's murder when it happened, meant our witnessing of one of the most terrifying scenes in TV history. The snapshot from it above is enough on its own! The screams, the disfigured face, BOB; It's an image (and a sound) firmly engrained within the mind of every Twin Peaks fan to the grave!
