When Dinklage first tried to make it in New York, he and his friends moved into an apartment underneath the Williamsburg Bridge. To call it 'horrible' would be an understatement: the trains rattled overhead; a family of rats lived in the oven; and the landlord pulled a knife on them when they complained.
