10. Negan The Praying Mantis

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has always had way with words, hasn't he? After he ousts Gamma/Mary (Thora Birch) as a Whisperer traitor, he is offered a gift from Alpha (Samantha Morton) for his work.

The gift turns out to be a "crude" sexual encounter between the pair, during which Negan says: "This isn't some sort of praying mantis situation, is it? Where you cut my head off afterwards?"

It makes for a funny line in the moment, but comes full circle a few episodes later when he is the one is does the beheading, killing Alpha in hopes of getting in good with the communities.
