Another CBS comedy to be cancelled, Fam was another that struggled in the ratings this season, only making it ahead of Murphy Brown and Happy Together in that regard.

There were presumably high hopes for Nina Dobrev's next TV show after The Vampire Diaries, but despite the midseason replacement ending on something of a cliffhanger, there isn't going to be any sense of resolution for fam's fans. Dobrev herself probably didn't come cheap, which likely factored into cutting a low-rated show.
