It's testament to how good the book and show's writing and plot-lines are that George R.R. Martin killed almost every single character that we all cared about and yet the series is stronger than ever. There's a sense of rage and frustration akin to our little bat-wielding stickman on the left every time our favourite is bumped off, yet we know for a fact we'll be perched in front of the TV ready for the next episode. Then repeat.
