Considering that Jay Garrick is traditionally depicted as the first person to ever don the Flash moniker in the comic book world, hes often used as a senior figure and somebody who is the elder of Barry Allen. So with that said, it came as a big surprise to hear Garrick reveal to Caitlin that hes only actually been operating as The Flash for 2 years over in his own world. With that taken into account, Garricks time as The Flash is only barely longer than Barrys tenure as the Scarlet Speedster. Still, it didn't seem to stop him referring to Barry as "kid" throughout Flash of Two Worlds.
