With few returning characters, Live Another Day's cast is primarily composed of new characters: Head of the CIA, Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt) will be tasked with hunting Bauer and under his command will be three CIA agents named Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), Jordan Reed (Giles Matthey,) and Erik Ritter (Gbenga Akinnagbe.) Another new face, Adrian Cross (played by Michael Wincott from The Crow), will be working underground with Chloe to stop the attacks, and Stephen Fry and Michelle Fairley of Game Of Thrones fame will also show up at some point, according to FOX. The setting has moved from the previous LA, Washington DC, and NYC locales to The United Kingdom. It's typical for the show to change its setting when viewers begin to grow tired of seeing the same city redundantly attacked repeatedly. That makes a change from the usual America-centric terrorist plots that typically fall at the centre of such shows and films, and of course allows for the addition of some new British talent to a distinctly American property.
