10. Daredevil

Showing: April 10th It's been a long time coming, but the other hero to live in San Francisco (along with Iron Man and Ant-Man) is finally on his feet and coming to Netflix, with the release fate finally confirmed. He won't actually be in San Francisco for the show though, which has moved him back to the familiar setting of Hell's Kitchen, and which should allow for the more pulpy feel that seems to be top of the agenda for the show-runners:
"We're going for a gritty, 1970s' New York feel for the show. We love the idea of beauty and the decay of the city, and Hell's Kitchen being a place that's both beautiful and gritty at the same time. And that's why Matt Murdock loves it and wants to protect it."
He's not the most famous of superheroes in screen terms - though Ben Affleck's version does not deserve as much hatred as it attracted - but it's a compelling story, and if talking Raccoons and tiny men riding ants can work for audiences, Daredevil should be a cinch. The Selling Point: He's a classic character, and Netflix's format should allow for fans to binge-watch and fall in love with the character a lot quicker than if he was left to organically grow week on week. And the pulpy sensibilities can only be a good thing. The Concerns: The Affleck version still tastes bitter for some, and Charlie Cox was a pretty left-field choice for the lead.
