2. New Duds

After much teasing in the promo materials, the end of the Season 2 premiere saw Barry Allen finally get a costume upgrade.

Taking its inspiration from the ‘future’ Flash seen in Season 1, this outfit’s main change sees the main logo plate get a white background.

Whilst it’s a minor cosmetic change, there’s a lot more significance to this edit. As talked about by the S.T.A.R. Labs crew, changing the suit to look more like the future Flash suit is a sign of not fearing the future.

We've yet to see Barry don the suit in the show yet, but the above promo image suggests there's a few shocking moments ahead for the Scarlet Speedster and his new getup.
