Changing up the voiceover that opens every episode, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen delivered a new, elongated prologue highlighting what went down throughout Season 1 and how he is not going to be doing things on his own in order to keep the people he cares about safe.

As Barry himself puts it, “There’s only one thing I can do now: I run!”
That firmly sets the stage as to Barry’s mind-set nowadays, but also throws up questions surrounding what exactly has gone on to make The Flash so solitary since we last saw the Scarlet Speedster.
Of course, we’d get a little look into that as the episode progressed.
