Season 2 first introduces us to Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) as he sits with his daughter Molly and reads her a bedtime story, with one particular line from the book getting his attention. "'Oh dear me!' ejaculated Mrs. Pepper," is hardly the kind of language you'd expect to read in a children's book, but Lou takes it in his stride, glancing at the cover while remarking, "This is a funny book!" while no doubt thinking to himself, "WTF?"
