Last Friday, it was revealed that the Graham Linehan-created "The IT Crowd" will return for one special, final episode to be broadcast on Friday 27th September. The news was greeted with a joyous reaction from fans who had felt series 4 had ended far too abruptly, leaving loose-ends untied. That the Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson and Matt Berry-starring comedy is returning for one last laugh then is wonderful news, giving fans one last chance to see their nerdy heroes in action. The new episode will run for the longer-than-usual 40 minutes and sees all of the main cast members reprise their roles with IT technicians Roy Trenneman and Maurice Moss returning alongside "relationship manager" Jen Barber. The trio will resume their jobs in the fictitious "Reynholm Industries" ran by the eccentric Douglas and containing such odd employees as goth Richmond Avenal (Noel Fielding). Since the last series of the show aired, the cast of the IT Crowd have gone on to great things, with O'Dowd appearing in Hollywood comedies such as Bridesmaids and This Is 40 and Ayoade directing hit British indie flick "Submarine". But we're thrilled they're all back together for one last time and to celebrate the show's return for one final episode, here, we run through The IT Crowd's 5 Best Moments.
