Mrs. Doyle is one of the great assets of the show. While she doesnt often get as much attention as the other characters, shes an incredibly funny character played by an amazing actress. In this scene she really gets a chance to shine, when Ted is unable to remember the name of a visiting priest and she has to guess. She does so, and what happens is pure comedy gold.
1. The Milk Float Cheese
Well, you knew this had to be on here. Short version: Pat Mustard, the local milkman, has been going around making special deliveries, resulting in a clutch of very hairy babies around town. Ted reports him and gets the man fired, leaving Father Dougal a chance to drive the milk float. This goes well for about ten seconds, and then we learn that Mustard has planted a bomb on the float; a bomb that arms at 4 miles per hour and will explode if the speed drops below that mark. What follows is one of the best car chases ever filmed.Really, the show itself is all around great, and as I said, if you havent watched it, youre missing something grand.
