Yes, the actual Chewbacca (well, the one who now officially plays him anyway) was flown in for a day from Lucasfilm to appear in Arties dream, as a throwback comedy reference to the Star Wars Holiday Special. Thats pretty cool, isnt it? Not only that, but Glee regularly makes tons of pop culture references. The last episode aired, Season 4 episode 1 (which was surprisingly good by the way) had the characters have a conversation about the Game of Thrones TV series, quoting Winter is coming. Also Sam Evans (the blonde kid who looks surprisingly like an older, non-drug addict version of Macaulay Culkin) is constantly doing obscure movie impressions. The final episode of Season 3 he mimicked the speech made by Christopher Walken in Spielbergs Catch Me If You Can you know, the one about the mouse that churned the butter (maybe you dont know). Still, it was a pretty good impression, and if you are a fan of that movie (which I am) it was actually pretty funny.
