Alright, let's face it, it happens. Whether to pursue other career opportunities, respond to a nasty contract dispute, sudden death (as we all well know in recent weeks) or you just decide one day to call your boss a Jewish clown named Chaim and see where that takes you, cast exits happen. With the influx of more violent, grisly shows on television these days such as The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, 24, the list goes on, the option made more often than not by writers is for the characters in question to exit by way of a body bag. Most of the time, the death of a character somehow drives an overarching plot further in the storyline or it serves to strengthen the bond between surviving characters, and sometimes there is even a lesson to be learned or a moral of the story that can be taught through this character's demise. On the other hand, there are those times when the circumstances of an actor's exit can get nasty and, whether it's because of on set feuds, contract disputes, or just no particular reason at all other than the fact that they can, the writers put the actor's character down and make him stay down, sometimes even killing him twice, or even several times... MOFFAT!!! These five actors and actresses, most of whom should be very well known to us, for one reason or another are mainly more famous for their high profile exits than they are for their tenure on the show that they had left so abruptly.
