Felicity Smoak has worked with the criminal vigilante known as 'Arrow' to illegally hack into a number of secure severs, including Starling City Police Department, where she removed critical evidence from a crime scene, the firewall at Merlyn Global Group and most significantly the data banks at secret government facility Advanced Research Group United Support (A.R.G.U.S). Further acts of cyber terrorism have yet to be determined... Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity Smoak has become a fan favourite on Arrow and it is easy to see why she was upgraded to a series regular in season two. Together with David Ramsey's Diggle, she has become a great support act to our titular hero, providing great banter, humour and warmth to every situation. There are plenty of shippers out there for her and Oliver Queen too and it's easy to see why. Emily has amazing chemistry with Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen. In grand 'techie' tradition, Felicity has become a valuable resource and ally to our hero. Like Willow to Buffy, she is capable of getting Oliver the information he needs, sneaking through secure severs to remove evidence linking the vigilante to a crime or uncovering an essential piece of intel to help save the day. Audiences will always support Felicity, no matter her actions, but in the eyes of the law she is most definitely a criminal...just like hero she helps to save Starling City each day.
