7 Legendary TV Characters Who Deserve A Prequel Spin-Off

3. Jesse Pinkman - Breaking Bad

Jesse Pinkman€™s character progression is nothing short of revolutionary in the world of TV. So many characters remain a constant throughout the show, but the ethos of Breaking Bad was always €˜change€™. No one is the same by the end of the five season run, if they managed to survive that long. Jesse€™s arc from goofy meth dealer to tragic antihero is magnificent and painful viewing, and the clues as to where he came from and how he came to become a minor player in the drug world are played out nicely in the early seasons, and through his often-turbulent relationship with his former High School chemistry teacher, Mr Walter White. The prequel show for Jesse Pinkman would take him back to his High School days, with Jesse becoming a darker version of Ferris Bueller as he rebels against his well-to-do family and breaks bad, albeit on a smaller scale than where he ends up. There could be some amazing schemes with Badger and Skinny Pete involved, and will feature a hilarious cameo from a cancer and meth-free Walter White, who is constantly angered at how Jesse refuses to apply himself.
