NetflixIf you've taken a break from your freedom to be wilfully incarcerated in the TV realms of Orange is the New Black, then you'll know that the show is so much more than mere fluffy entertainment. In fact, the Netflix original series can be called anything, but fluffy. Rather, it's a catalog of life lessons laid out in bite size episode pieces for us to sink our teeth into. Following Piper and her crew of misfit inmates, the show is something of a modern day fable, showing us the righteous path and ushering us from harm's way. Sure, it might not quite be the tortoise and the hare, but it's not a million miles off either. From her first submission to Litchfield Correctional Facility, we've watched Piper as she's sunk into the deepest ditches of society. This rare insight into prison life - and let's not forget this series is based on the real life story of one Piper Kerman - serves as a warning and holds within it a number of lessons. Aside from various, fascinating naked scenes, the series has arguably offered some real insights into the dark side of humanity. The fact that these characters are based on real life people, who are out there right now (or in there, because who knows if they're out yet) is baffling and the things we can learn from them are plentiful. Warning: If you haven't yet watched season two, this thing is packed full of spoilers...
