Topping the list of highly anticipated new offerings for horror fans is the upcoming FX thriller The Strain. Based on the trilogy of novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, The Strain is the tale of a vampire plague that overcomes mankind and the small group of human resistance who serve as the last hope for humanity as they wage an underground war against the undead. If you've read the source material, you're not going to need any convincing to tune in when The Strain premieres this July.
