8 Moments Of Outrageously Filthy Smut On Kids TV

By Charmaine Williams /

Ah childhood, where ignorance truly is bliss, and when the dirtiest jokes completely fly over your head. We've all been there: under the spell of nostalgia, you return to the favorite TV shows of your misspent youth, hoping to recapture the infinite pleasures of your formative TV watching years. But something is not right. You realize one throwaway line has a blatant reference to boobs, butts, genitalia, or mingling of all the above. It kind of shatters the wholesome image of your youth, doesn't it? After you pick up the pieces of your tainted memories, you start to wonder how the hell something like that got past the censors. If you're like me, you also asked your parents why they let you watch something like that. Whatever the case may be, you saw or heard something you didn't get. But thanks to growing up and the internet, it all makes sense. Let's take a look at all of the stuff we shouldn't have seen as kids.

8. Lou Pickles' Late Night Video Selection - Rugrats

Who didn't watch the Rugrats? That was one of the top kid shows back in the day. Granted, I was only 3 when it came out, but I caught every rerun when I was older. I'll admit I don't remember the rest of this particular episode, but when you realize Grandpa Lou watches porn after he puts kids to sleep, it's really hard to care about the rest of the plot. It's not as offensive as some heinous things that have aired in the past, but it still paints a picture no one wants to think about. No, I'm not saying Grandpa Lou was a pervert. But it doesn't help that his "movie" is called Lonely Space Vixens, and the splattered Nickelodeon logo looks a lot like a certain kind of bodily fluid. It's just weird. No one wants to think that their Grandpa spanks his monkey after they've gone to bed. I think that's in the top 3 of things your grandparents do that you never want to hear about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oS-sGGy6sdA
