Supernatural Season 8 season is almost here and there is very much to be excited about. Although last season was mediocre, it was still entertaining and it did have its moments. With a new season comes a fresh slate and a new storyline. Supernatural could push for ten seasons, but that would likely depend on the success of this season. Fans are disappointed with diminishing story lines over the past few seasons, so Supernatural has brought in fresh new blood to try and turn the series back to its usual great form. Without further ado, here are 8 reasons to be excited for Season 8...
8. Possible Last Season
Supernatural has had quite a magnificent run for a television show based on two brothers who spend their life fighting everything and anything that threatens the earth. We've seen hell, we've seen heaven and we will be seeing purgatory. Vampires, zombies, ghosts and shape-shifters have all made their presence known in the world of Supernatural. Angel, demons and Norse Gods, are also packed in making things even more complicated. So much power in such a small world. The Winchester brothers have been through a lot. We have enjoyed their journey and although the new show runner Jeremy Carver has stated he is planning to plot a story line to bring them to a tenth season; Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles contracts are up at seasons end. How this season goes and the fans reception will probably be big factors of whether they commit another 2 years or decide to end what has been an incredible journey.
