Perhaps my biggest issue with the first season of Daredevil is the fact that the show spent pretty much only a single episode dealing with the courtroom drama side of Matt Murdock's adventures. The quest to take down The Kingpin through the press ultimately seemed to overshadow that, but if Ben Urich's departure is good for anything, it's that season two has a much greater emphasis on Matt and Foggy's legal practice. Nelson & Murdock get involved with a high profile legal case very early on, and trust me when I say that it more than makes up for what season one was lacking. The conflict of interest Matt has as a vigilante and lawyer is also brought into play, as is how that impacts his work with a clearly frustrated Foggy. However, as great as this is, one nagging issue from last year once again ends up rearing it ugly head soon enough...
