We're gradually approaching the release of Luke Cage, Netflix's next series in the build-up to The Defenders, and now we've got a shiny new trailer for it that really shows it off.

The trailer, which follows on from the teaser at the end of Daredevil Season 2 and the promo they unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con, gives us our best look yet at the series and its star Mike Colter.

Although we've already seen him in Jessica Jones, this puts him on his home turf of Harlem, and gives a good look at the action we can expect, which is pretty great. His unbreakable skin obviously plays a big part, with a hail of bullets doing nothing to him, while there's another shot of the coming corridor fight scene that looks like being this series' take on the Daredevil hallmark.

It also gives the best look so far of Cornell 'Cottonmouth' Stokes, the show's mob boss-esque villain, and the conflict set to be brewing between him and our hero, while also hinting at Cage's origins, the return of Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple, and showcasing a bit of humour as well.

As we've come to expect from these series, it looks pretty great, and the new trailer only adds to the growing excitement ahead of the show's September 30 debut. Check it out below, and let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
