Coven is perhaps the best installment of American Horror Story, and though he wasn't around for long, The Axeman played a big role in upping the intensity and terror of the season.

A suave and charming jazz musician turned serial killer, he was a spirit trapped in the witches' Academy until he was freed and formed a romantic bond with Fiona Goode. With his cool charisma, terrifying magnetism and disturbing thirst for violence, The Axeman proved more than once to be a major - if only brief - foil for the titular coven.
