Arrow Season 4: 10 Things That Must Happen

How do you solve a problem like Felicity?

By James Hunt /

Despite being written off when first announced, due to a combination of the network (known for soapy dramas) and the source material (Green Arrow isn't exactly the biggest/most serious name in the comic world), Arrow has reached season 4 as one of the most successful superhero shows on TV, blazing a trail that many others have since followed. It has managed to blend the elements of a CW show with that of a comic book series, and the result has been one full of action, intrigue, drama, and suspense. It has continually evolved over the past three years, changing its hero from the Hood to the Arrow, expanding the team, introducing bigger threats, and most recently adding more mysticism through the likes of The Flash and the Lazarus Pit. As season 4 slowly comes into sight (with the amount of great TV starting towards the end of September/start of October, can't we just fast forward to then?), more has been revealed about it, such as the fact that Oliver will be putting on a different suit this season, it'll have a lighter tone (it couldn't get much darker, to be fair), Diggle will also be wearing a costume, and Damien Darhk is going to be the main villain, played by Neal McDonough. Season 3 of Arrow was somewhat hit and miss, especially when compared to season 2, and these are the things that it needs to do in its fourth run to fully recapture its glory.
