Malcolm Merlyn, once again vying for the title of World's Worst Parent, no mean feat on a show full of absolutely terrible parenting decisions. Here, he starts off by lying to Thea about taking William, and then makes some twisted argument about how it's all done to protect her and the point of the League is to protect mankind, and then he gets rather threatening towards his daughter. The show seems to be fully committed now into another heel-turn for Malcolm, but this time making him even more of a psychopath. As he enters a state of full-on villainy, you wonder just what he'll do next. Apparently there's not much that he won't do in order to hurt Oliver, and he appears to be edging closer to crossing the line of hurting his daughter as well.
