Arrow Season 4: 19 WTF Moments From 'Brotherhood'

A brother back from the grave.

By Andrew Pollard /

Brotherhood was an Arrow episode laced with WTF moments. From the opening minutes, we were given a shot of literal money being burned. Then came the big reveal about Diggle's brother Andy. Not only is Diggle's long-dead sibling alive and well, he's actually working for H.I.V.E.. Whilst this was a major shocker for Dig, viewers were given a far more welcome surprise as we got to see one of the very best one-on-one fight scenes that Arrow has produced as Thea Queen stepped up to the mark and made herself a big time player in the chess game that is Arrow. Elsewhere, Ray Palmer's return from the apparent grave continued, with him coming in useful both with his genius-level intellect and by putting on the Atom suit once more. Then there was also the return of Malcolm Merlyn, some major developments back on the island (including some bizarre magical truth test), and even a shout out to one of comic book's greatest names. All in all, Brotherhood was crammed full of moments of shock, surprise, awesomeness, and even a few that will have had your slapping yourself in the head.

19. Same Old, Same Old

Really, this again? Now don€™t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Arrow, but yet again we find an episode that starts in exactly the same way as so many others. Brotherhood opened up with another chase sequence over the same generic piece of land that is used for any and all similar moments, with a nameless, faceless driver attacked by the Ghosts only for Team Arrow to come to the rescue. As Diggle even puts it himself: €œIt€™s just like old times.€
