From the moment Damien Darhk appeared mere minutes into the opening episode of Season 4, we quickly learned that this was a ridiculously powerful villain who had a penchant for the dramatic and thought nothing of offing his own men, cohorts or enemies at a moments notice. Even Oliver Queen - the Green Arrow, the Emerald Archer, the Master Bowman, a man who has been around the block, been through hell, overcome near-impossible odds finds himself within an inch of taking his final breath at the hands of Darhk. Simply put, Season 4s big bad had been positioned as a rogue that could not be beaten. Then Thea Queen happened. Brotherhood saw Thea involved in one of the greatest fight sequences of the show to date, bringing down Andy Diggle after a multi-storey battle. She then gets confronted by Damien Darhk, who unleashes his apparent death grip on her only to see it backfire. Due to Theas dip in the Lazarus Pit, it appears that she is immune to Darhks powers, causing the rogues killer touch to backfire.
