Right at the very beginning of Season 4, Arrow gave away a pretty major spoiler: a character we know and care about is going to die by the end of this year. The premiere ended with a flashforward, showing a tearful Oliver at the grave of... well, that's exactly the question. It was a bold move on the part of the writers, because it's giving away a game-changing moment, yet at the same time it's a very exciting one. Now, we watch every episode and hope to pick up on some subtle clues as to who it will (or won't) be, and everything that happens, all the interactions between various characters, are tinged by the idea that one of these characters is going to die later in the season. Now, obviously it's not Oliver who'll be killed off, but for the first half of the season it seemed that any of the other characters were fair game, while it was assumed that it'd be Damien Darhk responsible for the murder. While that latter part is still true, the mid-season premiere flashed-forward again, showing a bit more of the scene and considerably altering how we view it, ruling characters in and out. As we approach that fatal day, presumably with more teases to come, it's time once again to consider just who it might be lying in that grave.
