Even for an article about the potential deaths of numerous characters, I'm aware this one is a pretty dark turn. After all, William is just a little kid, completely innocent in all of this, and, well, killing children is bad. Surely they wouldn't, would they? Well, maybe they would: if Darhk really wants to cut Oliver deeply, then killing his son would be one way of doing that, and of Oliver wanting to kill the person who did it (the way he calls it his "responsibility" also hints at it being his son, though that's far from conclusive evidence). It could be that he's the intended target, or there could conceivably be a situation where he is caught in the crossfire, with Oliver or Samantha the intended target. His death would remove the question over having Oliver juggle being a father with the Green Arrow, but it depends whether the show wants to go down the route of killing off a child.
