After nearly a month off the air, Arrow returned to The CW for the fourteenth offering of its seventh season.

Following on from the last episode's shock conclusion, 'Brothers & Sisters' allowed us to get up close and personal with Blackstar (a.k.a. Mia Smoak) as she explained more of her backstory, ultimately revealing that she was indeed Oliver and Felicity's child and that, unlike William, she didn't perceive her father to be a hero.

Elsewhere, in the present, Lyla Michaels and John Diggle finally pulled the trigger on the Ghost Initiative, utilising felons Ricardo Diaz, China White, Cupid and Joe Wilson to track down Dante which, predictably, didn't work out like they hoped and, understandably, didn't sit all that well with Felicity - who worried that Diaz would find a way to free himself and threaten her growing family.

'Brothers & Sisters' provided us with some much-needed clarity in the flash-forwards, while also providing us with some well-paced progression in the present - capped off by two of the most genuinely shocking cliffhangers the show has ever produced.
