7. The Focus on Laurel
Before we get into the nitty gritty analysis, it must be said that it was absolutely great to have an episode finally focus primarily on Laurel.
Black Siren’s road to redemption has undoubtedly been one of the most enthralling aspects of Arrow’s last two seasons, as Earth-2’s answer to Black Canary found herself leaving her villainous ways in the past as she grew closer to those on Earth-1.
An engaging story at all times, the only problem with it has been the writers’ attempts to overlook and manipulate it to suit their agenda - diminishing her screen-time every time she comes closer to achieving that redemption.
Thankfully, ‘Lost Canary’ corrected those issues, once again placing the focus back on Laurel and allowing her to make up for much of that screen-time that she was robbed of throughout the season.
