6. The References To Batman
The introduction of Batwoman has really done wonders for the Arrowverse, hasn't it? A shared universe that once danced around The Dark Knight's existence, the season premiere had no problem telling us that those days were long gone.
The premiere's opening moments took us back to Lian Yu, as Oliver wound up on Earth-2 and was rescued by the fishing trawler once more. However, in place of that iconic ragged Deathstroke mask was Batman's instantly recognisable mask - also with an arrow through its eye.
A shocking opening no doubt, but that was only the beginning of the Bat-references, as Adrian Chase revealed that he knew of the existence of the multiverse due to a quote that he learned from none other than Bruce Wayne.
So we know that Earth-2's Dark Knight is (was?) the World's Greatest Detective, but does that mean he trained Adrian too? Will it all matter now that Earth-2 has been wiped out?
