Arrowverse: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

18. Arrow Season 7

The first half of Arrow's seventh season was an exhilarating status quo-changer that saw Oliver incarcerated for his years of crime-fighting, all while Team Arrow had to contribute to a society that outlawed vigilantes. This approach proved very effective and the hard-hitting prison narrative was a major success - giving Oliver a unique arc unlike anything the show had done before.

The second half was less successful as it struggled to articulate who the main villain was and the flash-forward 'twist' was predictable. On top of that, Emiko Adachi's arc was handled in very disappointing fashion and the rushed finale was a complete disservice to the season.

'Confessions' and 'Lost Canary' are fantastic episodes, but overall the ball was definitely dropped in the back half.
