With its penchant for dual identities, outlandish villains, and massive explosions, Banshee is just a few pairs of spandex short of being the best superhero show on TV - but all good things must come to an end, and you'd better batten down the hatches because we're in for a roller coaster finale.

The Cinemax series is gearing up to enter its fourth and final season, and it€™s safe to assume that protagonist Lucas Hood (Antony Starr) will be adding to his sky-high body count and bedding women at a rate that makes James Bond look like the 40-Year-Old Virgin.

The dramatic conclusion of season three was a game-changer for Banshee, with Hood€™s larger-than-life ally Job ending up in the clutches of an arcane enemy, and our trigger-happy anti-hero resigning from his post as sheriff, much to the intrigue of local crime kingpin Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen).

Is Proctor's reign of terror over the Pennsylvania town destined to continue? Will we ever see Job again? And who exactly is this nameless ex-con who's been masquerading as a dead police officer for the last three seasons?

These burning questions and more will be answered when the series enters its eight-episode final run on April 1, and here are nine things Fanshees can expect from Hood and his colourful crew during their explosive farewell. This article contains spoilers, but you knew that, right?
