10. Skeev - Mabel (S3E1)

Although Better Call Saul takes place several years before the events in Breaking Bad, some episodes open in the present day. In these scenes, we see Jimmy McGill has taken on a different identity, Gene Takavic, to avoid being arrested for his association with Walter White. While working at a shopping mall store, Gene keeps a low profile so he won't be recognised by the authorities.

But there is one moment where we get to see the old Saul Goodman. While sitting at a bench during his lunch break, Gene sees a teenage shoplifter called Skeev evade security by hiding in a phone booth. When one of the officers asks Gene if he saw anyone run by, he points to the booth, ratting the shoplifter out.

As the security have Skeev arrested, Gene reverts to his Saul persona, ordering the teenager to say nothing to the police until he gets a lawyer. Even though Skeev never says a single line, his character is significant since his interaction with Jimmy allows him to shuffle off his Gene persona for the first time.
