4. Acting The Innocent

When cowardly cop Gus Grimly catches Malvo and brings him into the station, Malvo has to act fast to prove his innocence. He assumes the role of minister Frank Petersen and after an interrogation, manages to get the cops to let him leave. These cops have the photo evidence that proves Malvo is involved in criminal activity but Malvo is an impressive actor. He weaves a completely convincing story and feeds them alibis up to their ears. When the cops leave the interrogation room to check on these alibis, Malvo stares into the one way mirror. This is a man who is so badass that he can see through the mirror and right into the eyes of Gus. As Malvo strolls out of the police station telling people to €˜have a blessed day€™, Gus catches up with him and calls him by his real name. Malvo turns and asks Gus, €˜did you know the human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour... my question for you is why?€™ Malvo is a modern predator and the animals in his sights need to be able to see what is coming at them through the undergrowth.
