Bob's Burgers: 15 Greatest Episodes
15. V For Valentine-Detta
Burger of the Day: Shut Up and Swiss Me
On Valentine's Day, Tina has her heartbroken as Jimmy Jr is taking another girl, Becky, out for a date. To take her mind off her woes, Linda suggests a girls night out, hosted by Nat Kinkle - one of the series' funniest, most likable minor characters. Meanwhile, Bob and Gene go on a trapeze experience as a way of bonding but comically get stuck midway because they're scared of falling.
Nat suggests the girls stink bomb Jimmy Jr and Becky's dinner date. Tina is incredibly enthusiastic for this until she decides to leave them alone because of how unfair ruining their evening would be. Unfortunately, she trips up over a waiter and draws attention to herself. But Tina saves her dignity by confessing everything and admitting that Becky didn't deserve to have her Valentine's ruined.
V for Valentine-Detta was another episode that prolonged the "will they, won't they" relationship between Jimmy Jr and Tina. However, it ends on a really satisfying note because it shows her learning a valuable lesson and doing the moral thing on her own terms.
