Breaking Bad was, at its very core, the story of Walter White. The now-infamous chemistry teacher turned drug baron split the opinions of a global audience, his exploits gradually escalating and worsening before collapsing in upon themselves, before allowing him a final shot at redemption. Of course, Breaking Bad would be nowhere near as popular were it not for Brian Cranston's supporting cast. Aaron Paul's Jesse endured just as traumatic and transformative a journey as his cooking partner, while the strain put on the domestic and professional lives of Walt's family members gave the show a crucial extra dimension. But what of the others, the various weird and (sometimes) wonderful characters Walt and Jesse encounter along the way? The fondness with which fans took to various minor characters is as much a sign of Breaking Bad's astonishing success as the popularity of its stars. These villains, henchmen, lackeys and girlfriends all helped make the show unique, something rightly recognised by its audience. Here are twelve ultimate Breaking Bad cult heroes, the characters who stole our hearts despite enjoying relatively little screen time (at least compared to Cranston and the gang). Apologies Walt, Jesse, Skyler, Hank, Marie and Walt Jr. (I mean Flynn), but it's time to focus upon the most beloved recurring figures of AMC's groundbreaking drama. Spoilers are, of course, prevalent throughout.
