Another scenario that could stop the shootout and keep our buddies in the DEA alive is the arrival of the tribal police. With Hank and Gomez pinned behind Hank's truck seeking cover, combined with the fact no one on the Nazi's side appears to be an especially good shot, it isn't inconceivable that the lack of a quick kill and get-away won't alert some more unwanted attention. With the sound of gunfire ricocheting off the mountainsides, surely the tribal police will hear something? Considering they have a constitutional government on reservations such as Tohajiilee, we don't see why not. Alternatively, Hank, while using his truck as a shield, could call in for some back-up to send Todd and his Nazi family scattering into the desert. Let's face it, Hank has got through some hairy moments before, remember that shoot-out with the "Cousins"? Again, this still seems a particularly unlikely scenario, but it's worth contemplating that this gun fight ends without bloodshed until we see Hank and Gomie zipped up in a body bag.
