13. Eliza Dushku

The Role: 'Dark' slayer Faith Lehane across 20 episodes of the show, recurring in season 3 and 7, with a guest role in season 4. Though never technically a main character, she's certainly memorable enough to warrant a place on this list. 

Where Is She Now? Dushku has had a couple of attempts at starring in her own TV series since Buffy ended, although neither totally successful. She jumped straight from Sunnydale into another supernatural drama, Tru Calling, which lasted for just two seasons and 27 episodes. 

She sought a reunion with Joss Whedon in the hopes of launching her own vehicle, Dollhouse, but again that lasted for just two seasons before cancellation, although it did gain something of a cult following. Dushku was also approached about doing a Faith spin-off show, but turned the opportunity down. 

She has recently spent time voicing She-Hulk on a couple of animated Marvel shows, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and Ultimate Spider-Man. Later this year she'll be starring in the film Jane Wants a Boyfriend, about a young woman with Asperger's trying to find her first love. 

She'll also be seen in an episode of Banshee next year, and the film Eloise, which is directed by Oscar-winning visual effects artist Robert Legato, and is about a group of friends who break into an abandoned insane asylum in search of a death certificate, which will grant one of them a large inheritance.
