14. Buffy & Scott

Buffy's brief and ultimately directionless relationship with Scott Hope was only really in place to highlight how great Buffy and Angel had been together, and to emphasise how the Slayer simply wasn't made to date "normal" guys.

There could have been some kind of emotional poignancy with the pairing, allowing Buffy to have a relationship with a lot less danger, but between their rushed break-up and the fact that Scott himself was as dull as dishwater, it just never worked.

A wasted pairing they may have been, but Buffy and Scott's relationship is not one that fans missed...or even remembered once it was done.
