Community: 33 Behind The Scene Shots You Need To See

Greendale: You're Already Accepted!

By Mitch Nickelson /

Community is currently carving out a legacy for a legion of devoted fans, but despite the love from its viewers the show has been on the cusp of cancellation by NBC for many years. Unfortunately - inevitably perhaps - after a while those threats became reality when the unthinkable happened and the show was canned. While that could have been the darkest timeline it was simply not meant to be and Yahoo Screen renewed the series for a new season. Incredibly, the social media rally cry #sixseasonsandamovie still has hope of fulfilment. Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) and his quirky crew have hatched some of the most creative situations ever imagined for a network sitcom. What started out as a weekly look into the lives of a certain Greendale study group has ventured into realms of alternate timelines, animated G.I. Joe-style adventures, and the mass anarchy of a campus-wide paintball war. (The paintball one actually happened twice... and is expected to be brought back sometime during the current season.) Even though the show is ready-made for binge watching on Hulu and Yahoo Screen, those who have seen each episode multiple times can appreciate a different look at the students and faculty who comprise Greendale's Human Beings. Community has survived off of the passion of its internet-savvy audience and it is only fitting to turn those cameras around to see what happened behind the scenes...
