9. Pierce - Hufflepuff

It might be easy to quickly write off Pierce Hawthorne, Greendale's wealthiest (and most bigoted) student, as a Slytherin, due to his love of being wealthy and powerful. However, this reading of Pierce only scratches the surface. He actually belongs in Hufflepuff.

As he says in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, "I don't like being excluded, Jeff. Do you?" This shows that all Pierce wants is to fit in with the study group, to be one of them. He's also fiercely loyal to his friends, even standing up to his father for their sake. As shown by the fact that he studied at Greendale for thirteen years without ever getting tired of it, Pierce has patience to spare.

Pierce isn't always the best person, sometimes bordering on villainy. However, when he displays his Hufflepuff kindness, like when he got Sophie B. Hawkins to show up at Britta's Sadie/Sophie B. Hawkins dance or when he left Troy his fortune, it allows him to become a better man and finally fit in.
