Community's Cast - Where Are They Now?

Donald Glover is one of the biggest stars around, but what about the rest of Greendale’s cast?

Community never quite found an audience during its original run, being bounced around from timeslot to timeslot. However, it’s become a cult classic in the years since, securing itself as one of the early 21st Century’s best sitcoms.

The show finished in 2015, and in the four years since several of those attached have gone on to bigger and better things. Some things the Greendale alumni done have surpassed Community too as essential pieces of media for the 21st Century.

Others have drifted in their careers, taking interesting gigs here and there, but that’s worth diving into as well.

The Greendale Seven all get focus here, as do several of Community’s supporting stars and recurring characters. Also, a few of the behind the scenes faces at Community have had absolutely stellar careers since graduating from Greendale, so they’re in the spotlight here too.

We all know how successful Donald Glover has been since, but what about the rest of them? Will we ever get the movie from the fabled ‘six seasons and a movie’? Only time will tell, but given the success some of them have had since, a movie would surely be brilliant.

17. Dan Harmon

Not a cast member, but there’s a few of the behind the scenes faces at Community who’ve had very noteworthy careers post Greendale that it’s worth exploring.

Community’s creator Dan Harmon could have rested easily when the show ended. Although it was a bit of a bumpy road, what with Harmon falling out with Chevy Chase then being fired from his own show then being rehired, he could have sat back and basked in the glow of creating one of the most beloved yet under appreciated sitcoms of the 21st Century.

However, Harmon did not rest. Instead, he went on to create another cult show with massive sci fi cartoon hit Rick & Morty.

Alongside Justin Roiland, who voices the pair and stars in the Community finale as Ice Cube Head, Harmon made the show arguably the best cartoon on television today. Rick & Morty’s pilot was infamously written the night before the studio wanted to see it too, in Harmon’s typical slapdash style.

A fair few Community alums have crossed over to Rick & Morty guest spots too, showing how connected the cast is. Unsurprisingly, Chevy Chase has not.
