To show this new meaning in the song, the fun dance music was changed to a slow piano and the singing was soft and heartfelt. Corys accent really suited this song, sounding a little more mature than usual; his voice was breathier and deeper. The song wasnt hidden by the smoke and mirrors of wacky dance moves, bright lights and a stage that can detract from the music; Finn stands and sings to the group in the choir room, showing that his voice is powerful and good enough to stand alone.
